Quick Pasta Recipes: Cheesy Italian Shells + Hamburger Helper® Coupon

I have been celebrating National Hamburger Month by serving easy dinners by Hamburger Helper®. It’s summertime and no one wants to spend tons of time in the kitchen cooking dinner – least of all me! Hamburger Helper® lets me get a meal on the table in about half an hour or less.

Last week, my family enjoyed a Cheesy Taco Salad recipe made with Hamburger Helper®. This week, I decided to go for more of an Italian dinner with Cheesy Italian Shells Hamburger Helper®.

Quick pasta recipes like Cheesy Italian Shells Hamburger Helper® can be a lifesaver when you need a quick dinner. All you have to do is add ground beef to the pasta and sauce mix, and your meal will be ready to serve in about 30 minutes. Added bonus: It’s a skillet meal, so less dishes to wash at clean-up time!

One thing I really like about the Hamburger Helper® package is the “Add a Fresh Twist Ideas.” TIP: Read the box’s suggestions while you are still at the grocery store so you can pick up any necessary ingredients.

In my case, I picked up fresh spinach and mozzarella cheese to add to our Cheesy Italian Shells pasta dish.

Cheesy Italian Shells Hamburger Helper® Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Cheesy Italian Shells Hamburger Helper®
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/3 cups hot water
  • 1 cup fresh Spinach
  • 3/4 cup grated Mozzarella cheese

Directions:

1. BROWN beef in 10-inch skillet; drain.

2. STIR in hot water, milk, sauce mix and uncooked pasta. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

3. SIMMER. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Add in the spinach for the last 3-5 minutes of simmer time.

4. Remove from heat and uncover (sauce will thicken as it stands). Top with shredded Mozzarella cheese. Serve.

As you can see, Walmart has a large Hamburger Helper® selection on the shelves. Right now, there is an Ibotta coupon offer for Hamburger Helper® to help you save even more on this value meal.

What are your go-to hamburger meat recipes? Which Hamburger Helper® flavor variety is your favorite quick and easy dinner?
