Easy Snacks For Kids: Peanut Butter and Graham Crackers

August 16, 2024 by Nicole

peanut butter graham crackers

My kids have been back to school for a couple of weeks now. Last week, I started volunteering to help out with my son’s Kindergarten class at morning recess.

Let me tell you, these kids are starving by mid-morning! They have been working hard and their little bodies and brains are ready for a healthy snack.

Children need wholesome snacks to make it through the long hours of a school day. At home, my kids can snack whenever they feel hungry.

At school, snacks are limited to the scheduled times. So I have to be sure to send snacks that will keep them full in between those times.

One of my son’s favorite snacks are graham crackers. Annie’s Organic Graham Crackers make a delicious snack kids love.

Today I want to share how I make super easy snacks for kids with graham crackers and peanut butter. All you do is take a graham cracker, spread on a small amount of peanut butter, and top it with another cracker.

Graham crackers and peanut butter are a yummy flavor combination. Give it a try!

Sadly, the bite size Horizon Snack Grahams are no longer available. We love packable drinks like Horizon Organic Lowfat Milk boxes. Milk pairs perfectly with graham cracker peanut butter snacks.

Look for the Horizon cow on all sorts of products, including these shelf stable Horizon Organic milk boxes my kids like to take to school.

I make graham cracker and peanut butter sandwiches to pack along with a milk box for snack time. It’s nice to know my kids will have the energy they need to make it through the school day.

What are your child’s favorite school snacks?

I recently got a coupon for Horizon in my inbox. I will definitely have to try these because we are already huge fans of the Vanilla Milk.

Those look great. They’re a great take on an old favorite.

I don’t have any small children in the house anymore but I would still make these little snack sandwich bites for myself. I love the fun shapes of the Horizon graham crackers, especially the cow.

I would love this as a snack for me! This would be great to pack for a day trip hiking to with the peanut butter for protein.

My kids love this brand as well. I think the peanut butter is great too!
