What apps do you use every day? #IntelTablets #TabletCrew

I really like that I can use the same Android apps on my phone and PC that I use on my Intel Tablet. It makes all of the time I spend “plugged in” everyday a familiar experience no matter which device I am using.

There are many apps I use without fail every single day. As I was making a list of my favorites, I realized that every Android app on this list is FREE.

Netflix (I hope I never run out of shows to binge-watch.)

Facebook for Android (I love scrolling past hundreds of usually pointless status updates per day.)

Google Maps Navigation (I would be so lost without this app! Literally. Lost.)

Amazon (I shop Amazon for just about everything.)

Amazon Kindle (My real Kindle collects dust thanks to the Kindle app.)

FlipBoard (Love this app for keeping me on top of the news.)

Pinterest (Oh, how I love you, Pinterest! See my boards –>@momfindsout)

Twitter (Tweet me –> @momfindsout)

My recent Android app store discoveries:

I just found out about (and installed WordPress for Android). This app is supposed to make it easy for me to write, edit and publish blog posts from my mobile device. I can’t wait to try it out!

I have always wanted to learn a second language. The free app Duolingo teaches you Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian and English. It’s supposed to be totally fun to use.

What are the apps you use every day? What have been your favorite app discoveries in the Android or Windows 8 store?

    I have an android, and I really don’t use it for much other than typical phone tasks. I do have the amazon kindle book app on it and really like it for unforeseen times when I’m stuck waiting somewhere, I just pick back up on one of my ongoing books and I really enjoy that. I use it a dr.’s offices, the airport, etc. I have used it for google maps as well, but I guess I’m just not all that on top of things, because I didn’t even realize that was an app -lol, I use it in my browser.

      Oh yes! I use my mail app so much, I didn’t even think to consider it as an “app”! If that makes sense. LOL That’s just a given for me. I love my mail apps.

      I remember when I didn’t have a smart phone and couldn’t imagine why I would need one. This was several years ago. And now I couldn’t live without it, it makes my life so much easier.

    Facebook, pinterest, weather channel are my most used apps. I didn’t realize there was a wordpress app! Have to check it out.

    Duolingo is a great free app! It obviously doesn’t work as well as say, Rosetta Stone, but for the price, you can’t beat it!

    I have an iPad mini but don’t use it every day. Google maps and Kindle reader are the two apps I use most.
