This happened about 2-months ago and I keep saying I am going to get a water treatment system to avoid illness in the future. Have I done anything yet? Nope.

I learned that by passing air through 4,500 volts of electricity, the lotus® system splits oxygen molecules into atoms and forces this extra atom to combine and form liquefied ozone. The third oxygen atom becomes the sanitizing agent, a natural oxidant — which kills bacteria and viruses, and neutralizes pesticides.

  64. Tiffany U says

I am shocked and amazed by how this system works! Sometimes technology is an awesome thing because who would have thought that by splitting oxygen molecules (among other things) you can ultimately sanitize, kill bacteria and viruses let alone neutralize pesticides. Among the millions of other uses it would keep my kids from passing around the same cold for a month and really truly clean our fruits and vegetables. One day I hope to see these as mandatory in cleaning schools to help prevent the spread of the flu and all of the other icky germs floating around there!

    whew sorry for rambling lol
