We use our Intel Tablets in many different ways at holiday time. Travel time to grandma’s house goes faster when the kids watch movies and play games on the tablet. I like to use the tablet in the kitchen to look at recipes while I do my holiday baking.
And on Christmas Eve, our Intel tablet is part of a family tradition! We love to track Santa on his journey around the globe on December 24. This year, we downloaded Google’s Santa Tracker app (it’s free) to our tablet. Pre-Christmas Eve, the app is a countdown to Santa’s launch from the North Pole. In the meantime, you can play several different games in Santa’s Village. You can even learn cool things like how to say “Santa” in different languages!
Once Santa takes off on the 24th, we’ll be watching his flight from our Asus Memo Pad tablet. The 7-inch screen size is perfect for families to share. It’s not too big for children to handle, while it’s still a good size for adults to use for favorite tasks, like checking email, watching videos and surfing the Web. This budget-friendly Android tablet costs under $100!
Have you ever tracked Santa online? How do you use your tablet at holiday time? Have you downloaded the Google Santa Tracker app?
