Summer is a great time for vacations, but we shouldn’t take a vacation from our healthy habits. An easy way to stay on track is to tackle one healthy habit per day during the week. I made a list of five food and fitness goals that I need to work on and put them on a daily schedule:
Monday Run Day: I have a goal to walk 10,000 steps per day. Running gets me to that goal a lot faster.
Tuesday Fruit: The average person should eat 4.5 cups of fruit and veggies per day. It’s easy for me to meet this goal when I have fruit on hand. DOLE Fruit in Jars is all-natural fruit that is ready-to-eat. There’s no cutting, peeling or mess involved.
Water Wednesday: We should drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day to keep our bodies healthy. Today I will carry my water bottle with me everywhere and remind myself to hydrate often.
Thursday Weights: Say bye-bye to arm fat. I’m trying to tone my arms with an at-home workout that takes about 15 minutes.
Friday Elliptical: Rev up for the weekend with another cardio workout on the elliptical machine.
How are you staying on track with your food and fitness goals this summer?

Wow that is a GREAT deal on the fruit in jars. My kids love the mandarin oranges, too. Even though the jars don’t have to be refrigerated before you open them, I put ours in so they will be cold (when it’s summertime). The kids will snack on those all by themselves.

I see that the post says that the jars are $2.99 a jar. Mine came out to .50 cents a jar. I am stoked over this deal!!
