Mom Always Finds Out received a free review copy of the children’s book, I’d Know You Anywhere My Love. All opinions expressed are my own.
I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love is a modern day classic children’s book. My immediate thought the first time I finished reading the book was: Nancy Tillman has written a perfect children’s book. The text conveys a beautiful message about dreams and imagination. The illustrations are flawless. Every page is frameworthy. My children were captivated by the pictures and the words the moment I started reading. I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love is a book that belongs on every child’s bookshelf.
The imaginative story is told by a mother whose child becomes different animals. The mother tells the child all the many ways she would know and recognize them no matter what they were. I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love teaches children that no matter what they dream and become, they are loved.
Fox or koala, giraffe or raccoon…
anything, anywhere under the moon.
Whatever it is you imagine to be,
I’ll just be so proud you belong to me.
I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love has already debuted on the New York Times Best-Sellers list. In fact, four of Nancy Tillman’s books have appeared on the New York Times Best-Sellers list (On the Night You Were Born; Wherever You Are, My Love Will Find You; The Crown on Your Head; and I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love). Her books have already sold more than 5 million copies!
Nancy’s favorite thing about I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love is that children get to ROAR! And my children agree, they love the part of the story where they get to roar. I love it, too. Even though, truth be told, I was in tears at that point because I was reading to three of my children and when each of them roared, I read the story’s words: “…I’d know it was you by the sound of your roar” and realized just how true it was. Each of my children are so unique and I would know them by the sound of their roar “even if I’d never heard it before.”
I read that Nancy’s mission in creating her books is to convey to children everywhere that “You are loved.” I know her mission is accomplished with I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love. Learn more about Author Nancy Tillman at www.nancytillman.com

This sounds like a great but that I would love to read to my son. Try reading Oh The Places You’ll Go (Dr. Seuss) and that will tear you up too when you think about it.
