I take hundreds, if not thousands of pictures every month. Most are blog-related, but lots of the photos are of my kids doing day-to-day things. If you asked me to find a recent picture of me with my kids, I would have a hard time finding one. I’m like most moms…we usually stay BEHIND the camera!
Are you a behind-the-camera mom like me? The Sprout Channel wants to help us change things up a bit! Sprout’s Mom is Here Sweepstakes encourages all moms to get in the picture with their kids.
This sponsored post was written while participating in my partnership with Sprout and One2One Network, but as always, all opinions are my own.
My oldest son is already 10 years old. A whole decade of my life with him has flown by. I have seen just how fast kids can grow up and change – and even though I’m a part of their life every waking minute…there’s not much photo proof! In ten more years, I’ll be wishing I had more pictures of me with my little boys while they were still little.
That’s why I’m entering the #MomIsHere Sweepstakes and want to invite all of you moms out there to do it, too! This contest is a great way to live in the moment with your child. Plus, you will be entered to win awesome prizes!
Prizes:
Grand Prize – $2,000 Spa Package
Ten First Place Prizes – $100 Spa Finder Gift Card
All entries also have a chance to be featured in a commercial which will run on Sprout and also see their photo on Sprout’s electronic billboard in Times Square.
How To Enter:
Enter on momishere.com by uploading a photo from a variety of options (mobile/desktop album, Facebook album or Instagram album). Submit your photo with full name and email address. You can also tag photos on Instagram with #momishere & #sproutchannel to be entered into the sweepstakes. Be sure to get your entry in soon – contest ends April 27th.
Official Rules: Please note, official rules state that the sweepstakes is offered only to women 18 or older who are a parent/legal guardian of a child 8 years old and under. View the official rules.
My 2-going-on-3-year-old loves to ride his bike. We recently got it out from winter storage – and he’s already wanting to ride from the minute he wakes up in the morning til he goes to bed at night. I enjoy taking him on walks so he can ride his bike. I was taking pictures of him and his bike, then grabbed him for a selfie. How I love his happy face!
And guess what? It wasn’t so hard for me to get out from behind the camera after all. I know you can do it, too. Consider this your official mom challenge today – take a moment to get in the picture with your child. I’ll be watching for your Mom Is Here contest entry!

It is so true moms are usually behind the camera instead of in front of it. This has such a great prize as well as meaning behind the contest.

Great contest – I assume it can be for dads also?!

That’s a great question. I hope it is. I’ll have to check out the rules and see what it says. I’m glad you said something. 🙂
